The Lure of the Sea June 20, 2011

Join me on a voyage up the coast of Norway.  It’s all being shown live and it is so interesting.  The ship is now in the Lofoten Islands, wending its way ever North.  This is a cruise that my sister invited me to go on this coming September.  Well, if I were to go – and I would certainly like to – this live video is certainly whetting my appetite.  Here are several images I found on the internet.

That will be wonderful! If possible, then visit also North Cape (Nord Kapp). That is most Northern place to where one can drive with car. We have done it. Some photos in my About page.

Combining video and photos are great idea. In our family my wife takes videos and me photos.

I wish a very happy travel to You.

Looks fun! And chilly. I hope you get to go. Try out some of those sweaters you’ve been knitting. Oh, wait…you live here in Seattle. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to wear your sweaters all summer.

I think we had a “lucky” week with the Hurtigruten. The weather, the smoothness of the voyage. It became such a talking point as more and more viewers joined the journey.
