"Greatest Generation" Life Lessons

Last year, I posted Grandpa’s Christmas cards, at least the ones I have. This year, I’m going to post the Christmas cards Lad and Marian sent. Since I have many more of those, I will be posting them for the entire month of December. I will also post a few of my favorites from Grandpa in correct chronological order. This is one of my favorite Christmas cards from Grandpa. Enjoy.

    Thank you, Janet, for the re-Blog. I appreciate it when fellow bloggers help me spread understanding of what life was like back in the 40’s and 50’s … a different time and place.

    Happy to do it. I want to share what life was like in the 1940’s and 1950’s. The older I get the more there is to remember. No wonder my brain feels a bit scrambled! Thanks to a classmate from Belmont High School Class of 1954, I have loads of reminders of friends from kindergarten days in 1941 and on. Plus older family members still living and all our archives.
