Way Back In Time January 14, 2016

I’ve been working on my genealogy.  Some ancestors I’ve been able to trace back to the 1400’s and even further.  This is intriguing.  How far back in time can I go with names and dates?

My latest find is a photograph of Boyland Hall in Norfolk England.  My 14th Great Grandmother Margaret Barton Blennerhassett was born there in 1448.  There is a question regarding the Hall – was it demolished in 1947?

Boyland Hall demolished 1947?  Boyland Hall

I continue to be amazed that you can go back this far. How do you do it?

  2. Janet Says:

The ancestors I have found so far are all from the British Isles where record keeping has been an important part of the social fabric.
