Sen Miller – Immigrant Ancestor March 15, 2016

In documenting and searching for my ancestors I have yet to find Sen Miller who came to Boston from Scotland in about 1660.  He is the first ancestor I “met” way back about 70 years ago.  He was the first entry in one of the two blue genealogical record books which we had in the glass-doored bookcase in our family home in Belmont.  These 2 books were full of information compiled by my paternal grandmother in the 1920’s.  One book was for the Millers.  The other was for the Murdocks.  I distinctly remember Sen Miller as the first name in the Miller book.  Why haven’t I Andrea Doria found him again through Ancestry.com?

Reading this again in September 2016, I think the “Sen”wasn’t a name but rather an abbreviation for Senior.
