Flodden Fields  I have been finding a number of ancestors who died on Sept 9 1513 in the Battle of Flodden Fields in the North of England

Battle Of Flodden Field September 5, 2015

The Battle of Flodden Field – a famous battle in the history of the British Isles.  What a shiver I feel to find that some of MY ANCESTORS  fought and died in this battle.  Did I sort of intuitively know this when we studied English history in Belmont High School “way back” in 1953-54?
